Sort This Out Cellars was developed over several years of planning. From the first conversations about developing our own line of wines, to the real world implementation of the vision with the release of the first wine in 2007, Sort This Out Cellars exists today as the result of the hard work and dedication. Throwing all the traditional corporate structure out with the bath water, our job titles are part of the fun and character of who we are.

Michael Cobb “The Big Winner”  | michael@sortthisoutcellars.com
Michael found his path to the wine industry while working for Disneyland. The skills and knowledge developed as a Manager and Wine Buyer for Disneyland’s Club 33 would ultimately deliver him to the Santa Barbara wine country. After gaining several years of experience in winery operations, Michael is happy to work exclusively on making Sort This Out Cellars successful. Michael leads operations of the Sort This Out Cellars retail business in addition to our wine programs.

Why “The Big Winner” ? – Because, Michael is the gambler in the group. His instinct wins him a lot of money at the Blackjack table and we rely on that same instinct in our business.

Gary Cobb “The Bagman”
gary@sortthisoutcellars.com
Every business needs the grounded perspective of someone who has seen it all. Gary brings many years of experience in the printing industry to Sort This Out Cellars. Working closely with our printing partners Gary helps ensure our marketing materials and labels look as good as possible. In addition to his keen eye for detail, Gary brings his game to the Tasting Room were he has gained quite the fan club of ladies.

Why “The Bagman”?– When the drop goes down you need someone to carry the bag that is cool and calm. You don’t want to be first to draw just because your nerves are rattled. Gary brings a perspective to the table that only the bagman has.
